The 2010 election will be pivotal for the future of Mecklenburg County. Citizens are very concerned about the future of our Country and particularly the future of our County.
For all of us now - and future generations - the prospect of opportunity and prosperity is in jeopardy.
Ever-increasing taxes, a shrinking job base, dwindling paychecks, mounting government entitlements and obtrusive control over our lives, are growing at an alarming pace.
We need to take corrective action right away. Elected officials must listen to the people and respond to their concerns.
It is for these reasons and from encouragement of many friends and supporters,
I have decided to run for an at-large seat on the Mecklenburg County Commission.
My candidacy brings to the public the voice of the silent majority to this election. I will listen to the people and be the voice of reason on the Board of Commissioners.
I will not hesitate to make the tough decisions on the County Commission. Sometimes those decisions may not be popular, but be assured that I will base my decisions on the principles of fiscal discipline, affordability and creating a more effective and efficient government.
I am proud to represent the citizens of Charlotte/Mecklenburg and hope that this website will be of assistance to you as you seek information about County Government and the work that I will do on your behalf.

Creating new jobs and retaining existing ones
Establishing a County government that is reasonable and efficient
